Goal number three was to cook better. Previously I could cook pizza, spaghetti, and chicken parmesan.
So what's changed?
Really not much.
I have learned a few new things such as rice, salmon, and lentils. I've added more vegetables to my cooking. For instance, tonight I made ground turkey with onion and oregano, rice, and steamed broccoli. It was delicious! My money situation recently has taught me to keep the basics around and mix and match what I have. Pasta, poultry, and rice can take me a long way! Different seasons and sauces keeps it interesting. I'm no master chef, but our recent meals definitely beat macaroni and pizza.
